WOOD

Wood products are designed to highlight the natural beauty of wood and will often show interesting features such as knots and grain shading. These natural features will often vary from product to product and within components on the same piece so that no two pieces are the same. It is important to understand the unique properties of wood; which should not be mistaken for flaws. Each piece will have a slightly different grain pattern. Variation in colour shading and grain between different products and within the same product can occur. On distressed ranges, some small splits will add to the character of the piece. These are a normal feature of all-natural wood furniture.

MIRROR

Mirrored product has intentional gaps between the cut corners, this is to accommodate the natural expansion and contraction of the wooden body that occurs during fluctuating temperatures. Avoid exposing your furniture to excessive heat e.g. by placing it in front of a radiator, as this can cause cracking. Glass or mirrored panels should be cleaned using a non-solvent-based glass cleaner and a soft cloth, carefully avoiding contact with wooden or painted sections.

GLASS

Glass items will be similar, but never identical. Slight imperfections in the form of air bubbles, hand tool marks, pattern and colour irregularities reveal that a skilled human hand produced the glassware rather than a mass-producing machine. Shapes, sizes and colours may vary from piece to piece as this is the nature of the product.

METAL

Glass items are most often handcrafted or hand-finished because of that welding joints and small welding imperfections are always present on items. Colour can vary and slight imperfections are normal for metal crafted by hand. We feel this adds character and authenticity to these items.

*For Swirl Metal Table Lamp – Holes located near the top of the stem are intentional for electroplating. The purpose of these holes is to drain away from the plating water inside the tube after production to avoid the occurrence of rust. This is the nature of the production process and it’s not a product defect

*For Ariana Chrome and Mirror Tray – Welding conditions of metal joints may have slight variations. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handcrafted products and this is not considered a defect.

STONE FINISH

Stone Finishes such as marble and granite (including composite marble/stone/high gloss finishes) may differ in colour and veining, we cannot guarantee that the finish will be exactly as pictured. High-Gloss furniture is not scratch-proof so coasters/placemats should be used where possible to minimize scratches.

FABRICS

Fabrics including PVC do not guarantee their material for colour fastness, fading, wearing quality, durability and some fabrics will change with age and exposure to sunlight or adverse reaction to environmental conditions. In addition, variations in the sheen and texture (wrinkling and natural marks) of leather may occur due to different dying and tanning processes and natural phenomena.

*For Marrakech and Apollo Range – products under these ranges may have a slight variation of fabric colour.

CERAMIC / POLYRESIN

Ceramic or Polyresin products are mostly handmade, there may be slight variation of shape and/or size, have firing marks, craze lines or glaze bubbles, a slight inconsistency in the patterns, and colour. This is the nature of the production process and is not a fault.

ARTIFICIAL FLOWER

Artificial Flower colours may fade or alter after approximately 3 months. Keep away from direct or strong light. Rotate or turn the products regularly. This means that any gradual fading will occur all the way around the product, rather than on just one side, making it far less noticeable.

BEADS & GEMS

Beads and Gems are added by hand. There may be loose gems/beads in the packaging. Rough handling may cause the beads/gems to fall off. Please handle with care.

FURNITURE HANDLE

Furniture Handles has intended longer tube and added larger screw hole to furniture doors and drawers to ensure there is no contact with the door/drawers. This prevents breakage due to overtightening of the handles. Do not overtighten the drawer screw, it could cause damage to the glass or surface of the item. The handle maybe a little movable. This shouldn’t be considered as a defect.

PLASTIC

Plastic material may vary slightly due to natural property variation of polymer and fabrication. However, we will endeavor where required, to get as close a colour, gloss, and texture to the sample finishing provided.

WALL ART PAINTING

Wall art painting  finishes are not guaranteed to be a perfect match due to various hand applications of materials and natural variation of the canvas. Imperfections or variations in the colour and tone may occur naturally. Moreover, small indentations in our paint are perfectly normal.

As a result, these naturally occurring characteristics are not viewed as damages or defects, so these items are not faulty and credit requests will not be accepted. Please note that images of products displayed on the website may differ in colour due to differences in resolution, colour settings and brightness of computer monitors.
